Why No More Fresh Tag on my site?

What would cause it to disappear

This post was moved w/o notice to spider indentification so I reposted it thinking my original post did not register. This post has since been moved back to google forum and now I have two active posts asking the same thing :)

After this past update I have noticed that I no longer have Fresh tags next to most of my sites. What would cause the loss of a Fresh tag?

Means google is using the deep crawl not the fresh crawl results. If and when fresh bot comes back, you'll see the fresh tags again.

I don't understand cause all of my competitor's have fresh listings...

Whats your site PR like, has it fallen recently or have you lost a main link to your site? Is your content updated regularly?

Many reasons for freshbot going off you.

Two sites have page rank 6 or 7 (can't tell). No new content except for new links. I don't think I lost any links, but it is possible.

Any possibility I have been hit with some sort of penalty?

I just noticed that all of my sites that did not have fresh tag now do and vice versa. any thoughts?

The number of sites in the fresh database is smaller than the deep crawl (obviously else it would just be lots of deep crawls), so those sites that were in have been pushed out and some of your other sites have got in. If fresh bot continues to visit your sites this fluctuation will continue.
