I smell an update coming soon, the freshbots and crawlers where very active last week but seems like it died down now? whats eveyone elses thoughts?

Agreed with Jesse on this as my server has been hit by Googlebot notstop for the past 3 days. I have more robot traffic from SE's than I do normal people right now :) April 1st if google does the update will take it down the following day to fool you seo's ;0)

This would be the greatest April fools joke that could be played on this community. How about around 3:00 PM Google Guy comes in with a straight face and posts something like "The changes on PR are a result of algorithm changes"...

To work you will need to leave the top 1000 site's PR unchanged.

I would say this could creat a 3,000 post thread easy and break Webmasterworld's server.

It looks like it might be slowing down now. Even though it's only been seven days. Doesn't it normally go for about 10 days?!

The cralwer started on the 10th for me, Others didnt start untill the 13th, I only have freshbots coming now, but others say they still have the 216 cralwer, but i bet its the people's site that got crawled later.

I'm searching through my browser's preferences now but I can find no mention of how to filter out the abnormal people.;)
