I recently had some major search engine promotion done to one of my sites and just clicked on the Yahoo link that says "Search within this site" and see it has indexed 5000+ pages on Yahoo.
I expected this on Google since I have been reading and anticipating the famous Google dance. It does show up on my site. Why do I not see such results on Google?

You mean if you search in Google for your: domain you do not get the "more results from www.domain.com" under the second indented listing of your site?

Under Yahoo.com after I do a search for my domain there is also a link called "search within this site" . That link shows 5000+ pages.
On Google, all that comes up is my main domain and no other sub-pages

Last time I checked, Yahoo still showed the old Google index. Does not look good for you. Can you still search and find your internal pages in Google?

this morning and just now.
you are right looks like the new index, I probably got confused with Yahoo showing slightly different SERP's, not showing the same amount of Fresh listings and different result numbers...

You guys are talking to an earthling here :-)
So what is the layman's explanation for me not finding my listings in Google?

anyone know when Yahoo switched to the new results? My Google referrals are up around 50% since a couple of days after the update but Y referrals (much lower baseline) are static so far...

Hmm, Ignoramis that I am...
I was naive, looking for a link that would drill into the site from Google. Instead I searched for specific pages...
I AM THERE!
How do I get a total count from Google for page count like Yahoo shows?
