Content is key. This month I focused on making each page content worthy. Even though Google doesn't use meta tags, I still put them in there because I know other places still use them.

Does google take into account where a website is located in other places such as Inktomi? One of my sites jumped through the roof in the last few days because of the update in Google. The great thing is that I did it the honest way. No invisible text, no invisible links and only a few reciprical links from sites that have similar content. I see so many people complaining about their competitors spam. I think if you develop the site simple with good text, you'll always prevail.

I focused on making the site pure HTML with very little Javascript. Each page contained a .CSS page and lots of relevant text. A perfect ingredient to what works on google.
