I received a PR0, but I dont think I broke any rules. In fact, I thought I had been very careful not to do anything that was even remotely shady.

I had a PR5 last month and I had plenty of backlinks.

I am totally perplexed. Is there an email address that I can use to ask Google about my situation?

Thanks

Maybe you can explain more about the backlinks you had?
Did you change internal/external linking?
Did you buy an expired domain?

My site is a hobby site and most of my backlinks were from other hobby type sites.

The only other back links or outgoing links on my site were for a few businesses that I regularly work with that I am basically endorsing but have a little less to do with my site.

I dont beleive I have any links going in or out to link farms.

I did perform free webwork and hosting for a large non-profit organization. In exchange they let me put a message at the bottom of their page that said "Website supported by www.widgets.com" on the bottom of each of their pages. But, I dont think this should have violated any rules. This is of course also a hobby site. It has a PR7.

I added a few standard pages to my site. Originally, I had the links at the bottom of project pages, but that was confusing. Therefore, I created a "Links" page off the main site that had subcategories with outgoing links.

Other than that, the site is very simple. I dont have any hidden text, backdoors, popups, or anything else out of the ordinary.

Like I said, I had a PR5 before, so I dont think the site was banned when I purchased it.

Good Point Tigger,

The last 3 sites were owned by a guy that is doing webwork for some of our friends. I had volunteered my server and put links to them because like I said, they were friends. The sites were all a mess. That may be what did it. I removed them from my links. Man, if that is what did it, I hope Google lets me back in. I am really bummed about this.

Did you have your site hosted on the same PC, if so that could be one problem, unfortunately with google controlling the net I would not link to a PR0 site

Added

All you can do is remove the links and wait to see what happens after the next update, if you don't get your PR back perhaps try dropping G a line

No, they had their own server.

Thanks again.
