Anyone's PR go up?

More PR speculation

I am pleasantly surprised that two of my sites have just had the PR go up one notch (6/10 and 7/10).

Is this the supposed new PR algorithm or have I become more popular? I am not complaining :)

I would suppose either you have gained some links, or one or more of the links you have vahe gained PR. Don't think it's to do with a new algo.
Congrats, anyhow!

And: welcome to the board!

One of our sites graduated to a 6 last update - didnt really touch anything, back to a 5.. But who cares? In the same position.. :)

Well done you!
Just found another one of our sites has gone down by 1...
None of the new backlinks that should be showing are showing for any of our sites, several of the dmoz links have disappeared from Google (even though they are all in the latest dmoz index), two sites have lost all reference to their backlinks in Google. This is the worst update we've ever had. Woe is me.
:(
On the good side most of our sites are in the top three on alltheweb... if only anyone used it! :)

My site went from a 4 to a 5; we doubled our links although we were listed twice in DMOZ before the update and now I only see one link from DMOZ when I check our back links.

We also changed our code to validate with XHTML. This were the only changes for this update.

Brand-New site (launched January 2003) went from "pre-indexed limbo" to PR5, and virtually no traffic to averaging (since the update began) 1250 visitors per day (also went from no sales to at least 5 per day for the last 3 days)

Yep...I'm happy ;-)
