How long till next deep crawl

I want to put up a site in the next few days. Do I have time (and how much) to get it in and deep crawled by Google for the next update? Will any backlinks I establish with other sites this week show up in the next update?

I would try to get pages added pretty quickly if you can.

When the update starts I get any new pages online then, it gives me peace of mind that it is done :)

Yes, if you can get atleast one site to link to you before the dance.

possible but maybe not probable.
A lot of people over time here have reported that often the first appearance by the deep crawl bot (216.etc) to a new domain does not result in a full crawl but at least you'll be in ths cycle for the next crawl so the sooner the better.
