How does freshbot influence after index

Will improvements create a better PR now that indexed

My site got listed in www2, www3 etc. I was just curious if freshbot will update this page in terms of page rank when I make modifications - or is it permanently set for the rest of the month?

yes freshbot can affect you ranking considerably between updates

One of my sites was down on 22nd Feb and Freshbot came along and indexed a holding page put there by my hosting company. My site did not move at all and stayed where it was until the Freshbot came along a few days later and successfully indexed my site as before.

My question is this, how come some sites seem to move up and down the rankings when Freshbot arrives and spiders their new content or tags for example? when my site stayed where it was after such an extreme change in page content etc..
