The Freshbot frequency is a "moving" target though, as we have seen varying update cycles. I think Google is constantly tuning that part of their index.
On a couple of previous cycles we had experienced "no" FreshBot crawls during the first few days of the update (Before the deepcrawl spider initiated)..
This cycle we are experiencing Freshbot crawls during the first day of the update. :)
