AWA : are you aware of this issue?
I had not heard of this - but will look into it.
Happend to me all the time. [...]
ogletree, does this imply that it used to happen to you in the past, but no longer does?
Or do you mean that it still is happening?
In the back of my mind I wonder if this is an issue with an older browswer and/or something to do with cache and cookies.
Also, a quick question for the both of you: 'New UI', or old?
AWA
I tried to access an account in the Old UI format and it would keep booting me back to the MCC dashboard.
I could access one of the other accounts perfectly fine because it was in the new UI format. That had no issues.
But now that I have one account in old UI and one in New UI it wont let me run the one in old UI and keeps booting me out.
Worse still, there's no option at the top right to upgrade to the new UI for that one!
Any solutions AWA?
I will be working on a client and I will be sent back to the main client list randomly. I work in adwords all day long. It only haves 4 or 5 times a day.
One thing to note is that there are 9 people working in adwords all day and another 10 people that randomly log in. We all use the same username and log in. Other annoying thing that happen is that when I change dates anywhere sometimes it goes to some other date. I figure it is just another user putting in a date that overrides mine.
Any solutions AWA?
Nothing to suggest so far, except what I probably didn't say directly enough in my previous post. Several folks that I've talked to here all had the same first thought - clear cache and cookies.
I have talked to a senior member of the tech team who says is he is hearing of no other escalations to his team about this, which, if this was something new and widespread would certainly be occurring. They typically will hear of an emerging issue very quickly, since a lot of advertiser will write in.
After agreeing about the possibility of a cookie conflict, he said he'd look into it further - and if I learn more, I'll post again. Given what I know of his schedule, I do not predict this will be today, however. :)

This would really be the best way to approach it, in my opinion, since the support folks could look into it and/or escalate to tech folks as appropriate - with the benefit of being able to see and test in the actual account.

I've tried directly working through Adwords support, but it's not cleared up the issue.
It seems to happen to me most in the Reporting Centre (which can be REALLY annoying when you've gone through selecting all your options, hit Run and then boom you're straight back to MCC and have to go all over again)
I don't know about anyone else here, but this only happens to me when I'm using Chrome. I love Chrome but this issue is putting me off using it (also a lot of the advice from adwords support about turning Javascript on etc just wasn't relevant to Chrome - replied along these lines but no reply back)
I'm on the development version of chrome and I think it has something - same sort of things happened with Analytics in chrome too - all working fine and then for about a month it just kept crashing (something to do with a Shockwave Flash problem), then one day it's fine again...
I'm probably preaching to the converted here but it'd be a good idea to fully test Google products on Chrome before releasing updates for Chrome - especially as I imagine a higher % of Chrome users use other Google products than users on IE / FF

It is much more effective to work on this sort of thing with actual 'cases' to examine, so I will make this offer:
If any or all of you who are reporting this are concerned enought that you would care to 'sticky mail' me with as much specific detail as possible, I will send it directly to the tech folks.
They'd like to have information such as OS, Browser, IP address, time of error, CID (MCC and child), what you were doing when you got booted out to the MCC level (i.e., what you clicked on), and so forth.
Once they have actual 'cases' in hand, they can start to track things and hopefully find a connection between cases.
I have often said in this forum that I do not know who any WebmasterWorld member is as an AdWords advertiser. Nor do I want to know.
So, I will pass your information along without looking at the accounts at all or making any connection between the account(s) and you. Nor will I keep any record or notes. I will simply pass the information along, and have it out of my hands entirely.
It is up to you, of course, as to whether you'd like to do this - but without further specific information, the tech folks have gone as far as they can go.
To set reasonable expectations, I also can't specify a timeframe for this to be resolved, because, as you might expect, there is lot going on here and things pretty much have to be addressed on the basis of what is the next top priority.
