I can change the setting (like sort by Ad group name), but after that no matter what I click it reverts back to sorted by clicks.
Since many times I like to sort by Ad group name or impressions, this is driving me insane.
Anyone had this happen? I would think that maybe some cookie is getting lost, but I haven't changed any settings in my browser and the same thing happens in IE and Firefox.
If you're like me and started a campaign with a single ad group, chances are it got no clicks that first day, thereby they stay sorted by name.
Only helps in limited circumstances obviously, but it's a tad better than constant frustration.
Happy Holidays!

.. For anyone wondering how to do this, select 'Data' from the toolbar, then 'Stats' and select the dates you want stats displayed for. (Currently only shows stats for yesterday, last 7 days or last 30 days).
I regularly record my stats into a spreadsheet to support later analysis. This now requires me to add an extra keypress into a very repetitive process (or record all may data against the wrong AdGroups as I had done before I noticed the default ordering had changed).
Just a small issue, but can we have it back how it was please.
Apparently "while it is possible to alter the sort order at the campaign summary level and have it remain that way, it is only possible to alter the sort order at the campaign and Ad Group level each time you enter those particular windows."
They go on to explain how to re-set the sort order. Something I know only too well since I've been doing it 25 times a day for the past couple of weeks.
No acknowledgement of a bug now or previously and no acknowledgent of any change. I nust have been imagining the sort order was in AdGroup order for the past 6 months, or maybe there was a relationship between the number of clicks and the AdGroup name until a week or two ago. ;)
I guess we'll have to live without the feature unless enough people e-mail G to ask that they undo whatever they've done. :(
Keep in mind, Google NEVER admits fault, so I'm not expecting a reply saying "oops".
Sadly, this has been my experience too.
If those that care about this bug/feature/change keep contacting Google AdWords support on the issue, maybe eventually they will do something about it - but I doubt it will ever receive an "oops, sorry" response, or even an acknowledgement that they've changed or fixed it.
I am hoping to see some sort of improvement in Google's customer service, relations and feedback in 2007. I pay AdWords, I am one of Google's customers (albeit a small one perhaps). With respect to their customer service, Google is a very long way behind most organisations I come across.
