Symptoms could include 'flinching', 'ducking' or 'screaming' when someone says "SEO", compulsive rank checking, plus thinking 'scrapers' are 'coming to get you'.
Geography, sport and diplomacy aren't my strong points.
You're absolutely correct there:-)
The Grand Prix isn't even held in San Marino but 100 kms away!
my personal definition would have included some ex-soviet states (including some I wouldn't dream of getting traffic from).
No offence intended since I have absolutely no idea where you live, have you ever been to ANY former Comecon country, Eastern Bloc you may know it as?
It is my priviledge to travel through many of these countries for my real work...the places are amazing, so much culture, so much history, incredible cuisine, manners, hospitality, so much knowledge and intelligence, an absolutley unforgettable experience...and I get paid to do this for work!
If you've never had the pleasure, try it before E.U. regulations and commercial pressures attempt to make some of those countries into sanitised, look-a-like business parks! Then venture a bit further and try the Ukraine and then to Russia...what an eye-opener...food and entertainment like you would never believe:-)
Forget what you see on TV or read in papers, go and meet genuinely nice people and culture you thought only existed in history books.
Honestly, I'm not joking...politics is for idiots...people are the reality.
Haven't been to Eastern Europe since the wall came down. Had a nasty moment the wrong side of Checkpoint Charlie once when the van broke down and everyone was pointing guns at us.
Amazing how your school German comes back to you at a time like that :)
But yeah, believe me, I've had the pleasure.
