Earlier, it seems that YPN would actually increase the value for an AdSense publisher, who decides to stick on, but it seems opposite now.
The Advertisers, i guess, are now trying cheaper options of advertising like overture and other ppc and the overall earnings of AdSense seems to be reduced and has its impact on the publisher community.
It may be too early to conclude anything, but with atleat 8 out of 10 people feeling the downtrend, it seems that AdSense revenue bubble might burst or atleast deflate to a level where it is not too attractive for publishers to monetize their content with AdSense.
It so many publishers are feeling the heat, I am sure that the heat must have been felt at the Googleplex also.
I've noticed that my traffic from the SERPs changed beginning in August. I used to get 3 visitors from Google for every 1 from Yahoo, but now they're running neck-and-neck. Make of it what you will, but to me that's a major change. I'm still not sure which got better or worse, or if this is even a good thing for the long haul.
My AdSense reports haven't reflected a great deal of change, but they have been improving in terms of impressions and earnings.
The point of this trend spotting. Do the collective Adsense users have a product that is no longer as valuable? Do you think the industry is going another direction? Are there certain sectors of the industry that suffer more than others?
Certainly sites have been effected lately. It's the why and what to do about it that is important.
I wish people would stop saying "my site is fine" or "mine site also is declining" and get on topic. No one cares about your sample size of one.

I don't understand, how can the 'collected Adsense users' respond except for stating how their individual site is doing?

One person is a data point.
Two people is a trend.
Three people is proof of a Google conspiracy.
Even Labour Day weekend, while down from the sky-high August numbers, wasn't as down as other holiday weekends have been.
It's early to say this, but we're looking at good run 'til mid-December at least.
