70% down versus Feb, January this year. 60%, the same time as last year.
Is this really ad the 'ad market' issue?

Ezoic vs Mediavine vs Raptive
Which would be better if I prefer fast and fewer ads over money?

I have never heard anything good about Ezoic.

I ... tried to try Ezoic and it looked like a mess, tons of code and APIs and it wanted full access to my CloudFlare DNS, I remember it asked for something sketchy, I think my direct CloudFlare password. Overall very messy, confusing, demanding and I never got that far to see any income.

For those of you using CloudFlare and have RocketLoader "ON", try turning it off for a couple of days and you will see a drastic difference on Adsense, RocketLoader and Adsense don't go together and it decreases your earnings.
I have done a few tests over the last couple of years and there are plenty of articles from others out there on this subject that support what I am saying.

+11.6% compared to the first 21 days of May 2023 (RPM +13.4%). Some holidays in my target countries this month have led to lower traffic. The last day of the month will be more significant.

@allhearts
I have never noticed any issue with RocketLoader from CF, but I will try 7 days without it, then I will compare the statistics. As for Offerwall, I use it all the time and as I said, it is a lifesaver, without Offerwall the revenue would certainly be much less than it is now.

@dolcevita
Having RocketLoader OFF for me makes a huge difference, also did to a fellow friend webmaster as well.
There are a few articles and videos about this.
What I have noticed for me and others have noticed as well, is that RocketLoader defers all Javascript until the page fully loads.
So with it OFF, the ads load quicker and therefor it increases your active view viewable which translates into higher income.

Yesterday and today are horrible

@Sissi+ : Since I started monetizing with Adsense, I've learned to dislike holiday periods.
But sunny days are coming, barbecues are multiplying, and people are going out more. It's harder to catch their attention on the site. Fortunately, there are days with heavy rain.
But on Saturdays and Sundays, I no longer complain; it’s just how it is, and unfortunately, it’s normal. During the holidays, I no longer check my Adsense earnings over the weekend because I know it will be disappointing (unlike in October, November, and December).

Not as good for me either, it’s Memorial Day weekend, must be.

Today earnings are at an absolute stand still, lowest in the month.

Down 35%. Taking Adsense for what it is now. The switch to CPM kind of butchered the whatever Adsense had going.

@MMedi26,
yup, it also affected most publishers. Since I have nothing else to go to that is worth it, I'm just going to hang with it and hope for better things to come.

Is anyone having issues with getting new sites approved? On my 4th review attempt. Originally spun content and already getting 100+ hits a day. 5 Month old side

2024 is the WORST year for me.
By the way, anyone tried Adsense "ad intents"?
allhearts

I did, but I didn’t like how it looked on my pages so removed it, it also didn’t do well at all as far as earnings go.
At a time where specially google punishes you for slow websites and bad SEO, I just don’t get why they are coming out with so many new ways to make our websites annoying, slow and full of ads.

An article on bbc which also talked about the drop in traffic for many websites. I am also in the same boat...
"A spokesperson for Google tells the BBC that the company only launches changes to Search after rigorous testing confirms that the shift will be helpful for users, and that the company gives website owners help, resources and opportunities for feedback on their Search rankings."
"Google stands firm in its position that the changes will be a benefit to the web, and changes to the Search algorithm are just the start. "
Google is a JOKE!
My website also lost almost all traffic.
But I also notice that whenever I search something on Google, the results are often bad and un-related.
On this moment, I get more visitors from Bing (3x).
It will only get worse.
Later they will add AI more and more.
SEO is almost dead - at least for smaller websites/blogs
Smaller websites can better focus on YouTube and TikTok now.

The new Google search update has confirmed destroyed most mid to small publishers. I've walked around the Internet today and noticed this is certainly the case. Also, for example, a site that used to rank top 1000 in world is now doing almost as good as my top site did - osxdaily [dot] com. It's really sad.
Anyway, probably won't be on this forum as much anymore as I look to the future. Hopefully I'll be able to cling alive with my AdSense sites for now. Here's to the future. Good luck everyone

I thought things were really bad, but since last Sunday, things have gone to a whole new level of horrible.

Mine recovered to around 80% of normal times. I am curious for the ones of you who have problems now ... did it last for more than 30-45 days ? I think it should recover after that.
