AdSense Earnings and Observations - September 2023

Surprisingly August earnings matched July earnings to a tee in terms of revenue, and this on fewer impressions / sessions no less.

You really cant gauge what you're going to get month-to-month.

Well right now im seeing a 99% (Yes a 99%) Clawback for the month of August. Never have seen this before? Contacted adsense about it. Possibly a glitch because this never happens. Anyone else seeing this huge clawback?

@Nikos90. I looked more into I only was paid for "Earnings - AdSense for Search" I have yet to be paid for "Earnings - AdSense for Content". Awaiting for this other payment. This "Earnings - AdSense for Search" is new to me.

This August had a 2.4% increase over August of 2022. It's not much, but I'll take it since it's going in the right direction.

I’ve had very good and stable numbers since July, I’m definitely not complaining at what I’m bringing in. Way better than the first half of the year.

Again all depends at what level your account is
20 per day
200 per day or 1500 per day

Same here. I am just counting my blessings that it’s not going lower. The first half of this year was not good.

I’ve noticed a lack of clicks this weekend but I believe that’s because of Labor Day.

Was doing anywhere between $300-$1k a day 2016-2019 .

Now sittings at $100-$200 on a good day absolutely insane. Have started to integrate pop-up ad videos from other 3rd party advertisers, while removing auto ads. Slowly but surely I'll end up dropping Google Adsense.

Google stock is up almost 60% YOY, all the while advertising revenue dropped +50% for a lot of publishers. Something isn't adding up here.

The Continue ads that seem to be everywhere are just one problem. They link to pages full of ugly links, dead pages or pages that set off my virus detection alarm. Google really needs to clean up its network.

@Ember you see that's the PROBLEM... With their ad review center YOU are responsible for cleaning up the network lol... It's really is a joke. I have blocked 100s of these continue ads and the well "CONTINUE"

Aren’t those “continue ads” empty Adsense ads? You can use css to avoid showing those empty ads.

Google verifies advertisers and has all sorts of rules about who can advertise what. So why can't they check destination pages and filter out spam ads? Reminds me of the cloud ads a few years ago. They were everywhere and led nowhere.

2500000 pageviews monthly and earning 150$ from Indian traffic, niche is finance. Planning to remove adsense but no alternate.
