Message from AdSense: Verify Your Address

Yah - just got this pin in the mail today myself though I have been an Adsense player since 2003. Kinda weird. No reg flags in my account and I just got paid today.

The message disappeared some days ago.
Today, I found the letter from Google in my letter box.
Today, I received an email from Google, payment underway.

Messy! Must have cost them a few stamps.

Got a PIN in US Mail also a last months check. (Different envelopes in case AI is reading this.)

The instructions say: Settings, (Gear) then Payments, then Account Information.
However the reality is that path is Payments --> Account Information, The Gear Icon is not involved.

The crux is there is no "verify address" in the Account Information section.
Other people are having the same issue.

True... you verify the address by entering the PIN that is sent to your address.

This is how new accounts get verified.

However, as discovered, this is moot since this notification is a glitch if your account has been verified and in operation for a long time..
