This is Labor Day (long) Weekend in the USA, and last weekend of summer vacation in lot of countries.

Ah, that is why I'm seeing a drop in the US traffic. Fingers crossed for next week.

I hope things carry on for the rest of September like they've started today. My page RPM is £4.29 and CPC is 29p and earnings for this time of the day are definitely ahead.

Pretty normal so far. Great RPM for some channels, as usual, not-so-great RPM for others.

Stats are stuck? Just increased by 2$ in past 5 hours. Looks like it is turning out to be a bad start...

@RedBar for us August was the worst month for the last 3 years. Welcome to September Earnings & Observations

RPM - really the only sensible way of checking performance in my view - was down overall, but has been up for the last two weeks, so I'm hoping that there's some good news on the way. August's RPM was the second-worst figure in the last 12 months.
What's confused me in August is seeing wide, wide variances in daily figures - they've been up and down all over the place. Really don't understand why.

my average RPM is bellow 0.10 $ for last 5 days which is lower than even half average RPM of last 3 months. adsense is sinking very badly.

$300 decrease in August compared to July. And 500$ decrease in August compared to June. August could have been even worse but last three days (excluding 31st August) were really good.
September start is also slow, lol.

Mayank - a $300 decrease if you're earning $3,000 is one thing - if you're earning $600 that's quite another!

Google took 1/3 of my August earnings right off the top. Pathetic. I had a low CTR all the way through August also.

I'm removing ALL AdSense ads today.

That's a bold decision. I'm sure you will soon realise that AdSense is better than other ad networks :D

How much Google took for august invalid click in yours accounts? I think Google took from me every month more and more :D

@MayankParmar - No they are not. Gourmet Ads in Australia has always been excellent. I make more with them than I make with AdSense. What good is it to keep AdSense ads on a 40,000 page website, when I am only in a low three figure income with them and they take away 1/3 of that? It doesn't make sense to keep AdSense. I am not a Google fan at all.

@azlinda did you call Google about taking 1/3 from you in August? I've never heard of a clawback like that. I like the quality of Gourmet Ads, but they never met the Adsense income I was getting. For some reason, people in my niches click their ads less.

5.2% clawback for month of August. August earning is 11% higher than July. Time to embrace September.

1% clawback here and they started me at -$2.00 for September.

@nubchai - No, I did not call them. I don't intend to talk to them any more. They did the same thing for July earnings. It's not worth my time to bother with AdSense anymore.

Yes, stats are frozen here and have been for a while. My clawback for August was about 1.5%, which is not so bad compared to previous months.
