October was a good month, roughly 25% up overall on the same month last year.

AMP and https are where my thoughts will be for November and December. Both I consider to be good in their own right but the effect on Adsense revenue is not clear. From my reading the consensus seems to be that they reduce Adsense income - in the short to medium term.

October had a particularly slow start so I feared the same would happen with November, but in fact the opposite happened: Nov. 1 was my highest earning day in AdSense history. *cork pops* November and December are traditionally my (and many others') best months of the year, so I'm working hard on making sure I get the most out of them. The ads I don't really touch, so it's not necessarily AdSense related: I "simply" focus on increasing user engagement and satisfaction, and the rest really does seem to follow. It helps that my competitors are dozing.

October 2015 was 7% up compared to 2015 and clawback stood at 0.5%. What started dreadful, turned in a very good month for me.

The November start is very good as well.

October was good. Been transitioning to responsive, and it seems to be helping with RPM. November is starting out well, too, knock on wood.

Anyone else seeing massive underreporting of pageviews since yesterday? I see only about 35-40% of all pageviews being reported. Impressions, clicks, and earnings are fine, resulting in overstated Page RPM. AdSense Pageviews in Google Analytics aren't affected.

Same here. CTR is arround 2.5% which is impossible. Hope they will fix it soon.

I had one of the best days yesterday while today seems to be the worst in history - reporting very low views and CPC that is 40% of my long term average

October was a mediocre month for us. Actually down a few percent since last year. November is having a somewhat bad start for us. But not as bad as October. Election day and Thanksgiving is going to hurt, but thats normal!

October was better than September for us. November is off to a slow start.

@woody_midrib @cipi79 Seeing the same issue here too, impressions are correct but page views only about 20% of what they should be. only seems to be affecting one of my sites too.

Got hit with an 5% invalid traffic subtraction on November 3rd. WFT? That is certainly not normal as that usually occurs at the end of the month and usually is 1-2%.

I'm also seeing the problem with under reported pageviews, correct impressions. Clicks and revenue are a bit lower but the beginning of any month is always whacked.

Hey did anyone else hear that Adsense dropped their limit of 3 display ads per page? I know it's a longshot but I wonder if that is related to the weird stats in some way. Here's a post on the change: [seroundtable.com...]

@nubchai Removal of the 3 ads limit is discussed in this thread: [webmasterworld.com...]

Reporting is still off but revenue looks good. If I look at Custon Channels>Overview, the total for page views right now is 5586 and impressions 5571. But when I go to Days>Overview I see page views 409 and impressions 5633. The clicks agree but the Page RPM is inflated because of the reduced page views. As long as the clicks and revenue look good, I'm not going to worry about this. But it's weird.

Earnings are corrected for invalid traffic both at the end of the month and during the day. The one that's run when the month is over is perhaps more complex and too resource-intensive to run in real-time or even daily.

My guess is that the end of month runs look at the overall track record and browsing behavior of the visitors. Meaning, the more loyal visitors that you receive on a daily basis, the more likely that those visits will be discounted at the end of the month.

This is a scaleable way for Google to discount some of the potential misclicks, intentional clicks, and usual overpayment from advertisers toward certain specific users. For example, if a loyal visitor decides that he wants to "help" by clicking on an ad every single day for 30 days...there is nothing we can do on our end but Google will probably use some kind of algorithm to detect and remove those $. Hell we cannot even mention "ads" with any form of communication. I think that is what is happening with end of month deductions.

I was able to increase my return visits for certain sites by increasing loyalty and depth of my content. And I do notice an increased claw back at the end of the month. Last year my clawback hovers around 2~5%. This year I am hitting almost 10%'s every month. I do have a ton more mobile visitors though, I think percentile wise my mobile has now replaced more than 50%~70% of my previous desktop users, my audience's browsing habits are permanently changing, but I think those mobile clicks are more likely to be daily clawbacks rather than the monthly. Only 10% of my audience browse my sites with desktop, compared to 30% last year. So yeah...It is what it is!

In terms of observation...Business as usual.

October was the best month of the year, but November is very slow...
The payment is low again, this week will be elections, and after that, we have Veterans day and Thanksgiving Day, so it will be a horrible new Week.

Adsense still under-reporting pageviews for one of the sites. Also, seeing lot of reporting/analytics spam in adsense reporting.

Page CTR today is very low 0.5%. Usually its around 1.3-1.4%. Very slow day. Maybe US elections have some influence?

I was expecting Tuesday to be a much lower than average day yet it turned out to be completely normal across the board however today looks like a massive hangover day with hardly any USA visitors as yet and zero clicks so far.

Agree, I dont know why but traffic(USA) drops today like 30-40%, is that some kind of day off for everyone after election ?

Have a drop in traffic as well. Maybe people are shocked and talk about the results instead of surfing the web. Hoping it is just a fluke.
