@LuckyD -- That's amazing! Congrats. I personally removed all link units last year after they stopped performing for me on some certain sites but your post is making me curious again. So now I will ask. Where did you place the ads? Sidebar? Under Title of Post? Help me out here, I think I will give the link units a go this weekend.

I'd be surprised if it were as much as 7.5% actually. There's me, and maybe a handful of others at most. And those people are probably not the ones complaining about the day-to-day volatility because they're used to it (and have some understanding why it happens) on the AdWords side.

Yes, beginning of Thanksgiving week in the U.S. Actually, it probably started last Friday and will last until this coming Sunday. And, of course, Christmas starts on this Friday. My least favorite time of the year. Although this November has been pretty good.

At this time of year, I'm astonished at how bad this is for me. A new "bottom". Pretty much is putting that final nail in the coffin of hope. If I suck this bad during shopping season this year, I'm basically dirt in terms of ad value. Bad ads = no clicks = no revenue which is exactly where I'm at right now. It's actually unbelievable. Can you smell it from here?

Based on my personal experience today, I'd guess that most people in the U.S. were at Costco, buying pumpkin and pecan pies (or looking for a place to park so they could go inside and buy pumpkin and pecan pies).

1. It was an invisible red bar day
2. They've broken the red bar with the amount of usage it's been getting recently!
Something updated between me going to bed and this morning since all my numbers look normal (read still horribly low) including the USA PVs.

Since the Friday 13th terrorist attacks I have seen my 4th, 5th and 10th lowest PVs of 2015.
Same here. Pageviews down 10 or 15%, RPM down 50% or more. Click through rates down 50%. Nov 24th within a couple of cents of half of 28 days ago.

First hour in on Friday (EU-based). Usually the first thousand or so impressions have high RPM, which indicates a good revenues for the rest of the day. But now I see that my RPM took a 50% dive! I'm a bit afraid to be honest

Nearly two years ago in March of 2014, earnings went on a wild roller coaster ride thanks to a lot of bots (many of us went through the experience). Scared the bejeebees out of me and was a wake up call. Since then, I have developed a new online business (small but growing) and gotten a part time job. I sleep much better since Adsense is now but one of several revenue streams.

The UK came to the rescue for me yesterday!
US v November average
PVs 51.7% Clicks 20% RPM 10.6% Earnings 5.5%
Resulting in my lowest-ever US day in 13 years.
UK v November average
PVs 75.6% Clicks 166.7% RPM 359% Earnings 266.7%
Resulting in my highest November 2015 day.
Needless to say that without the UK it would have been pointless displaying AdSense.

Wow, the lack of activity here is mirrored by my sites, Friday's USA PVs were a record low and 35.8% of November average.
Once again the day was salvaged by some good UK click values otherwise without them I may as well have switched off everything, all I'm getting is spam crap to my inbox right now.

Abnormal results here. Up 700% over the same day last week LOL.In other news, this is a real throwback for me. A reminder of times when I was excited to check my income during a day because it actually moved upwards. I'll enjoy the next couple weeks, I hope. It might be 2 days of glee, but people around me think I could use some more glee in my life. Adsense and glee for me are mutually exclusive with the exception of yesterday and today.

Excellent stuff, 2nd lowest-ever PVs, second lowest-ever click volume and second lowest-ever earnings from AdSense,
Add to that my widget SERPs are full of repeated keyword crap sites I may as well switch off everything, go on holiday, come back in January and hope that Google will have got their act together ... I know that ain't going to happen therefore I may as well retire since search engines are not driving me any worthwhile real business traffic at the moment.
