LOL. Who here would be happy with a day that shows as being 287% higher than the same day the previous week? Talked about F'd up. I'll take it. It's like now is "normal" but that previous couple weeks was nothing short of abysmal. I think somebody mentioned how losing an advertiser can affect things, and perhaps that is what I experienced. My one pony still in the race dropped out with a broken leg for about 3 or 4 weeks, but this past few days it's almost normal again. I've gone from shoveling dung to shoveling pennies this week. It's a turn in the right direction at least.

I know it is a difficult task to know why adsense performs better than affiliate sales/direct ad sales/CPA forms.
Laser targeted traffic will convert 1:10, broad targeted traffic will convert 1:500. If you own a huge site with thousands of URLs it is always, and I mean always impossible to sell anything. The keyword fragmentation will kill the sales, no one will buy.
Best example is if you own a trademark or use adwords to bid for this trademark, it will sell like 1:5.

I think, The revenue ratio has been changed. Google is taking 68% and we are getting 32%.

LOL. When you cut a penny into halves and quarters, it's certainly not filling their pockets! Even if they took 90% of what I'm getting, I would still LOL.

Yesterday, not my one pony in the race saw a day 263% higher than the day from the previous week. I actually didn't think that I could turn this type of number. I have to have some confidence that it's real and not going to disappear by the end of the month. I almost fell over to be honest.

Haha ... it doesn't matter to me which way round it may be, 32% of almost nothing is still almost nothing!
These days my daily earnings are not one beer whereas even earlier this year I could earn possibly two or three beers and as for the days when I earned a hundred beers a day, such sweet memories, it's a good job I enjoyed them whilst I was still young:-)

It's simply astonishing how much Adsense has fallen this month. Clicks are all down a lot, and now, the CPC has also melted down. I sent an email to the support recently about this earnings meltdown just to make noise, and received a very poor quality response from someone whose English is not even proficient and couldn't be bothered to write anything decent. If these are the kind of employees Adsense/Google are employing these days, it speaks volumes. Adsense didn't even bother sending me a feedback form concerning the support (they used to).
Looks like Zombie Time now....

Solid month for me. 10% more earnings than last year, US,UK and Canadian traffic equal, global traffic 10% down. Happy the Peppy.

earnings are very low. why ad sense has decreased the price for clicks. Anyone can suggest any other advertising platform.

Up 426% from the same day, previous week. I dunno, is that exciting? I know it doesn't suck.

I've never seen an ad server that demanded you install the latest version of Flash with a pop-up screen, then redirected you to several different pages during the process including an obnoxious "Are you sure you want to leave" dialog box, which is what happened when I tried Bidvertiser. Really weirded me out (and they're history).

Looking at the broader picture: Earnings per month in August were down 25% compared to the fairly consistent earnings each month for the year up till June. September saw an improvement and then October was back to the same level as they had been up till june I had made virtually no changes to any of my sites in terms of changing content or new pages or structure and no changes in terms of positioning of ads/ad types/ad colours etc. Traffic had been fairly consistent (actually a slight drop in traffic for my best earnings months) and serps fairly consistent. So really there was no point in panicking when earnings dropped. i suspect it was all entirely out of my control. Maybe some big advertisers dropped out of adwords for a while in my sector with consequent lower rpm.

why ad sense has decreased the price for clicks.
It's a bid-based system. AdSense doesn't increase or decrease the price for clicks, advertisers do.

Well. There *is* smart pricing.

Yes, but that's a local adjustment. The statement that "ad sense has decreased the price for clicks" implies a global reduction.
