February 2015 AdSense Earnings and Observations

January 2015 was not a great month for many.
February it's a short month.
On 2nd of February in US is the NFL Super Bowl and we all know that dreaded 14.02... :(

First day of February had a very low payment for me, the second seems to be worse.

Whatever improvements they made for me over the last few days went down the tubes today resulting in an appalling CTR and EPC.

At least they are showing the red bar. Yesterday our CTR dropped like 40 percent despite high traffic. Today the same. The red bar tells me there is a problem and they are working on it. On our mobile phones ads open very slow.

I have to say that February turn out to be much better for me than January was. RPM is not as high as I want it to be for obvious reasons, but CTR and CPC from countries were my main audience is coming from seems to be improved and so far i have not seen a single click taken back from me.

Its bad month. In start of febuary its ok, but last 4 days is bad. Do you using text and banner advert together or only text or banner?

Also in mobile phone i see advert very wierd. Background my advert is white and i didnt see any text, because i have text white. Do you have also this problem in mobile phone?

My ads on the mobile are all OK, in fact for last 5-6 days I have been getting a lot of clicks from mobiles and tablets. I use mix of both text and banner adds, but I constantly block those that I think somewhat irrelevant to my content.

Really high numbers on tablets and desktop today as for mobiles, slightly higher than my usual, considering that I only allow 1 add block on mobiles. US, UK and Australia are in lead so far today Canada is caching up too, the rest is nothing extraordinary.

Today, RPM is less than a third of what it was yesterday.

Metrics more or less "normal" with EPC a bit lower than usual but at least Clicks and CTR seem ok.

The last couple of days my smartphone CTR has dropped 75% to their worst earnings of the year, Page Views absolutely normal.

Yeah my earnings stats look like they have been frozen since about 11:00 AM EST.
Traffic has almost doubled but not clicks

Apparently 50% of the world, the ones who click, are suddenly only on in the evening.?.?

I'm still getting the same number of pageviews as always but not until after 3pm West Coast. Daylight hours ctr is very low, and by end of day is back to normal.

Stats stuck again for me, UK Friday afternoon.

Also my strong Countries are kind of not awake until really late time of the day so most of my clicks are after 6-7pm GMT. Anyhow I am still over January by 28% so far.

Somehow GWT is also seems to be stack for few days and it is probably irrelevant to bring it up here, but my GA main view reported only 40 Unique Visitors when Additional View and Logs reported 1500 times more, which is more or less realistic picture. WTF is going on and there is not a single word about any of this anywhere at all.

US clicks frozen for me today, India, Russia, South Korea and the UK are way ahead of the game!

It's ramping up exceptionally well here for one of my sites. The others sites are boringly average.

But something is going wrong with analytics stats. Aside from 9th February, which apparently still doesn't exist for two of my sites, there are other anomalies which mysteriously appear and go. Adsense stats seem OK though.

A very disappointing Friday EPC from the USA at 62.5% of February average after being pretty solid since the EPC debacle of the first two days.
