How Fast are Ads Restored After Correcting AdSense TOS Violation?

My ads were stopped this morning due to a violation. The violation has been in place for over a year, but I guess Google just "noticed" it as our earnings have gone up significantly in the last few days. The message I received gave me the steps to appeal the violation, but I am curious how fast ads typically go back live once they violation is corrected. Anyone run into this before?

I joined the company whose site I posted about a week before this all went down. Yes I learned to make sure that THAT is the first thing to do when/if taking over management of a new AdSense account. My experience was 100% based on once I contacted AdSense support.
