Coverage is the percentage of ad unit impressions or queries that showed ads.
Read this just the other day:

Update: CPM is replaced with RPM, which is Revenue Per Mille. But they (CPM and RPM) are not the same, right?
The RPM is calculated by adding up the price charged to advertisers (CPM) for each ad block on the webpage, then subtracting the cost of delivering that advertising like sales commissions and Web hosting fees.
I'm still getting the old interface and do not have the "try" link.
I sort of like the new interface...it's certainly nicer looking. However, I switched back to the old interface. I found trying to obtain channel data and other reports I want take many, many more clicks to do than when using the older interface.
In particular, I very much dislike how I can't see ALL channel data on one screen. The new interface allows you to see either URL channels or custom channels - but not both at the same time. I find that especially annoying.
Finally, I don't like how it seems to "default" to monthly or weekly data that is displayed when you first login. What interests me is TODAY. It would be nice to be able to set your default date range.
The new one is coming for everyone so instead of just switching back to the old one (for a short time)make suggestions to AdSense on how to improve the new interface.
Or maybe link units are counted differently because the don't show ads and only links that need to be clicked to show ads.
