Anyone seen the new adsense layout. I like it already :)

Is anyone seeing a drastic drop in reported CTR in the new interface - like less than 1/4th of the CTR reported in the old interface? Is it a different metric now?

And same with RPM compared to the eCPM - it's much lower - though I suppose that'll make sense as soon as I can grasp the difference between the two metrics.

Oh, wait a minute. It looks like it's because it counts Ad Unit Impressions/Queries instead of Page Impressions. I'm getting it now. I think.

Edit: Right, that was it. Had to choose Page Views from the Columns drop-down in Performance Reports to see the familiar metrics.

No wonder my stats have been stuck for the past 8 hours. Logged in just 2 minutes ago to see they've rolled out the new interface for me too. Nice pretty charts.

For me, it's frozen in ff a couple of times. That's annoying. I was, however, able to set today's channel report as the default report. That's always what I look at first. Still, it feels cumbersome compared with the existing interface.

Any one observed Coverage to be low than you expected?
I never ever saw any page on my site without an Ad being displayed, yet the new interface reports only near 80% coverage. Is that sort of coverage fine/normal?

For me, that seems to be mostly because of the coverage % for AdLinks. Regular ad units show nearly 100% coverage, but for adlinks on my site it can be as low as 2.7%. That difference amazes me.

I guess the average for both is what the base number shows.

I agree.
My Home page report shows 60% coverage but when I look at Channel reports all the ad units are close to 100% and the link coverage is less than 10%. I have one ad unit and one link unit on most pages.
Seems that the Coverage number for ad links is either calculated differently or there's a bug in the code.

I sort of like the new interface...it's certainly nicer looking. However, I switched back to the old interface. I found trying to obtain channel data and other reports I want take many, many more clicks to do than when using the older interface.

In particular, I very much dislike how I can't see ALL channel data on one screen. The new interface allows you to see either URL channels or custom channels - but not both at the same time. I find that especially annoying.

Finally, I don't like how it seems to "default" to monthly or weekly data that is displayed when you first login. What interests me is TODAY. It would be nice to be able to set your default date range.

This is the exact same situation I'm in. I like the new interface, but I had to go back to the old one because of this.

Well, I was able to set today's url channels as the default report. Still, I prefer the existing panel. I'ts quicker and doesn't present the risk of crashing my browser.

That was the first impression I formed. It's obvious they are trying to wean the regular loggers off their addiction. Remember gas?

I sort of like it; found that some GUI features don't quite feel right yet; but I guess it's still beta. For instance, I want to get to simple channel-based earnings reports, and I'm sure I'm clicking more to get there...

I think Goo are bringing it into line with DFP; my guess is that the long-term plan is to integrate Adsense, DFP, Analytics, AdWords, and Web-master tools, to make something like 'Google Marketing Central' - which in my view, if done right would be super cool.

I like the new interface - especially the inclusion of CPC in the reports. I'd like to see a few tweaks:
1) On the Home page Earnings Estimates I'd prefer:
Today's earnings
Yesterday's earnings
This month's earnings
or make it customizable
2) Separate Adlinks and Text ads performance reports.
3) Reports on Interest-based ads

Here's a fun thing. In the new interface, I notice that my Ad Review Center is in French. In the old interface, it's in English. As far as I can tell, the rest of the new interface is in English; just the Ad Review Center. Now, I do understand a little French, but I wouldn't have thought Google knew that. Silly me.
