Merry Christmas, Google!
I dont really mind the present part but I have hundreds of partners still send us a ecard or real card and many still send gifts. Seems strange to not even send out a ecard which literally costs nothing.
On the other hand, some feel that Google does not make sufficient gestures to show their appreciation for the publishers. Is that what is at root of the discussion?
You know, as far as gestures by Google, ASA was at PubCon, looking forward to meeting with many of you. I was disappointed with the lack of turnout by members of this forum. Where were you? I even arranged a dinner out with ASA so the publishers can meet face to face with ASA who was there to meet face to face with you. Only about eight of you turned up. Opportunties don't always come knocking. Sometimes you have to go to opportunity itself. Hope to see more of you at PubCon next year.

Where were you?
Facing the realities of the European recession!
I bet it would cost me well upwards of USD 2,000.00 to attend, that's one heck of an expensive dinner even for me :-)

A lot of us don't live where PubCon is being held and some of us will probably never attend a PubCon. We are too busy living in the real world.
