Does anyone know if Google allows the adsense ads to be placed in a banner rotator? I'm wanting to maybe do that, so it doesn't always show the adsense ads, but other banners as well.

To be honest, I'd try adsense on it's own to see how it works for you. You might find that adsense works so well for you that you ditch the rest of the ads, or you might find (as some do) that adsense doesn't work with your site contents / visitor profile. In which case adsense get's the boot.

I've tried various affiliate schemes and CPM /PPC programs and got pennies out of them, but adsense works a treat with my site content and visitors. I ditched the rest of the schemes and currently use just one CPM server instead of PSA's.

Don't put all your eggs on one basket, but at the same time I think I'd give adsense a fair trial if I was you.

Some quick and easy ways to get shunted out of Adsense-
1. Click the ads on your site
2. Put Adsense in banner rotator
3. Display ads from other networks mimicking Adsense
4. ..... There are some other ways ;) too.

My advice don't try it without explicit permission from Google Adsense team

Since when aren't you allowed to put it in a banner rotator? I've been doing it for over a year now and I even contacted google a few times because I was having a problem getting it to work and they said nothing about it being against the rules

you are right. Ad rotator is allowed. it is really not alloweb by their TOS, as you can not use Adsenes as an alternative ad. However, you can use other ads as the alternatives of adsense. So that is the gray area.

It was read as if you use URL in adsense then it is OK, but many WM rotate them by PHP, and nobody got kicked. So the eyes are close on google side.
