Offical google Adsense blog post:

which is why we're excited to announce the integration of one of our personal favorite reporting tools, Google Analytics, with AdSense. We're gradually rolling out this functionality to publishers, and you'll see an invitation link at the top of your 'Overview' and 'Advanced Reports' pages when it's been enabled for your account.

Apparently they're testing this "pilot program" with a select number of publishers. The rest of us will have to wait.

I was going to email them and beg for an invite - I know, no self pride.

mentat... dont you mean to check your adsense data in the analytics interface, or is this something different?

I mean... now I got this link into my Adsense interface:

For the moment that's it...

Just got it. There is a new page "AdSense" in "Content" with "Overview", Top Content, Top Referrers and Trending. Everything at 0 now.

I'm in the UK.

Just got the message in adsense to link accounts.

Knowing what pages are earning is a great feature.

Okay, integration complete. I would like to have seen some sort of feedback on whether it was successful though. I pasted the new snippet immediately below my <body>. Is that good?

I'd put it above your </body> statement. Sometimes the code can be a little long to load, and why hold up the rest of your page? When Analytics was first announced, we had to put it in the <head> and I immediately took it out because it slowed the page load so much.

netmeg, google explicitly tells you to put the additional bit of integration code on top. This is pretty logical given that it sets a variable which is to be used by adsense at clicktime. I think that as long as you place it above your adsense blocks, you're okay. Setting a variable won't cause much delay I figure ;)

Oh, I see. Well I still don't have it in my account (@#$%@#$%) so I haven't seen it yet.

Me either. (Google doesn't love me anymore! sniff, sniff.)

Oh well, probably just lead to more activity that resembles actual work anyhow.

I can't remember how many hours it said it would take to show up but it's been at least 6 hours and I'm still showing no data...anyone have this long a delay?

I'm awaiting my invite.

In the meantime, has anyone implemented this and decided to make significant improvements or changes as a result of the data? Is it more than just an interesting toy?

Just checked my AdSense stats and noticed that now there's a link that says "Go to your Google Analytics Account".

Just got first results, for few hours of yesterday.

I don't understand, how to show adsense stats by country?

Added my primary domain with no others, but now I can't see a way to go back and add further domains for tracking.

The option was given at setup time, but I didn't take it and now I'd like to change.

Anybody know how to do this?

EDIT:
OK, in Analytics there's a link called "Edit AdSense linking settings". Here's where you do it.

This a godsend feature!

I'm already seeing which pages give me more money and... there are a few surprises!
Being a forum I couldn't figure out what were the cash cow topics, now I do! Thumbs up to both Analytics & Adsense teams!
This way I can push and develop the most profitable topics... and, hope, earn some more money so that I can buy that slice of bread I've been dreaming about.

Me too, maybe even some jam! Instead of feeling like a fool, now I feel like an informed fool.

shortbus1662: Change the end date on your report in Analytics, so that it includes anything picked up today. It lags big time, but it might show you something.

I am sifting through my data, but am wondering; why can't I segment my adsense data? When I slice off a visitor type, GA tells me that it generated 0 clicks. This happens for all segments... Could this be due to a still tiny data population?

I'm getting stats for my primary domain now, but not for the secondary ones however I properly added the code to them.

Also, looking at the data where it says x pages generated x income, after I click to go to a specific page, it says 0 ad clicks and 0 ad dollars.

shortbus: we dont have analytics/adsense integration yet, but the effect you are talking about happens with regular analytics data too.

aggregate data comes in relatively quickly, but granular info lags even more.

24 hours post integration and still no results. Not even an 'adsense' item in the menus (thats where it appears, right?)
What a fizzer :(
