Offical google Adsense blog post:

which is why we're excited to announce the integration of one of our personal favorite reporting tools, Google Analytics, with AdSense. We're gradually rolling out this functionality to publishers, and you'll see an invitation link at the top of your 'Overview' and 'Advanced Reports' pages when it's been enabled for your account.

Would like some of the pretty graphs in Analytics to be available in Adsense, so they hope they hurry up with it. Hopefully I will not have to replace all my Adsense/Analytics code to get the new service (there is "new" and "legacy" code)

I have three websites with AdSense (no Analytics) and did not receive any invitation yet. Do you think that they may give priority to those who own websites having both Adsense + Analytics?

> When Analytics first came out, they wanted the script in the <head> tags, and it was dog slow, so I took it out of everything. After that, they said you could add it to the bottom of the page, and it did speed up noticeably. That said - I occasionally do notice a lag time on some of my larger client sites where everything's loaded but we're still waiting for the GA code, and I've seen the same thing on other large sites around the net. It's better than it was, but it ain't perfect yet.

I read on the WW Analytics Forum a while back that if you put the code at the bottom of the page, a webmaster said his tests showed reporting 20-30% lower than at the top of the page. Just because the entire page doesn't always load (long pages and/or speedy surfers).

No, but there were some other major changes to my Analytics accounts this past week, so maybe they're getting ready to roll it out.

Is this rollout going to happen on country by country basis? As far as I know, none of the Indian publishers have received the integration invite.

Got the invite.

You will have to determine your primary website, if you've got several websites. For the primary website, you don't have to add any codes. But for your non primary websites, you will need to add a small snippet of code at the top of the page

Yes, I just got the invite as well. Very simply set up. Just waiting for the stats to show now, which will probably take a few hours according to the message displayed during the setup process.

My analytics is on a separate email to my adsense. Doh!

I've got the invite but can't do much with it yet.

wow..I complained yesterday, and got the integration link today. But I do not understand what the integration here is about. The last section of the integration gave me some code snippet. Now, if I were to add that code to see my stats, what does the integration mean here?

realmaverick... i think you can just create another analytics administrator account, and then you should be able to link them. at least that is how i read this:

I had the same situation where my Analytics account is in a different Google account, but I just connected the two by adding my Adsense account as user.

Love this new feature. Now you can tell exactly what pages are bringing in the Adsense revenue and what the referrer sources of those who click on Adsense

Good to hear people are starting to be able to link their accounts together. Unfortunately, I'm not seeing anything yet (except for the improved Analytics Settings interface and the addition of advanced segments).

@himalayaswater: according to googles blog post about this, there will be a special link in in your adsense reports:

...you'll see an invitation link at the top of your 'Overview' and 'Advanced Reports' pages when it's been enabled for your account.

It's now been exactly a month since this thread started, and about 11 days since someone last reported having the feature rolled out to them.

Anyone else have this added to their account lately? I'm still waiting...

It still requires me to paste some code on my site to get going..So, where is the "integration" part here?

I think this feature is US-only for the time being... Any Europ publishers that have this enabled?

I got the email about a month ago and have since intergrated the Analytics code on my site along side my Urchin tracking code. So far - interesting, but they do charge for this service if you have more than 5 million page views monthly. I had to par back the analytics code so I did not have to pay.

So far I have not learned anything about my website and adsense revenue that I did not already know. I think for those of you that chase every bit of Adsense revenue this will be helpful. I personnaly chase legitmate and targeted traffic - revenue follows the visitors.

Anyway, I have not felt motivated to change my website strategy, layout or anything else since I have installed Adsense/Analytics on my website. Perhaps for less-traffic website this service could be helpfull.

edge: this is the first i have heard of charging for the service for many page views. do they specify how much it costs for sites with more than 5 million monthly page views?

I do not know how much they charge after 5 mil. pageviews. However, the "service is provided without charge to you for up to 5 million pageviews per month per account, and if You have an active Adwords campaign in good standing, the Service is provided without charge to You without a pageview limitation."

Anybody else know? Guess I could get a quote...

That's always been the case, as far as I know.

I don't know what the cost is, but you can maintain an AdWords campaign pretty darn cheaply, so it might make more sense to do that.

Definitely guilty... I know I could really use this facility. Anyone in the UK had an invite yet?

Apparently they're testing this "pilot program" with a select number of publishers. The rest of us will have to wait.
