Just wondering if anyone knows whether Google will be able to do direct deposit or paypal or just plans to stick with snailmail...

They plan more payment options in the future, but right now it is by mailed check only.

anyone can ask for GoogleGuy this?

I am live in Brazil, here I cannot can receive checks anymore.

see post of mlemos in
[webmasterworld.com...] ...

"According to information from a Fedex attendant, the brazilian customs determined that it is not an acceptable way to send money to individuals in Brazil.

I don't know about companies, but in Brazil by law individuals receiving foreign income should declare it every month via a statement named Carnę Leăo and eventually pay the correspondent taxes until the end of next month.

I suspect that the problem is that this is meant to force people to pay due taxes. When individuals receive money via SWIFT (Standard Wire Internation Funds Transfer) in Brazil from a foreign company, they need to go to the bank and provide a declaration that explains the origin of the funds. Basically admiting that this is income subject of the usual taxes.

This problem is not specific to checks sent by Google. According to the Fedex attendant, there was a surge in the number of people being paid in Brazil by Google and the brazilian customs decided to halt them. I think they suspect that most people would not declare the income properly and would evade taxes."

For Brazil publishers is VERY important new payments methods, without we cannot be paid!

We aren't the Google support desk. You need to take this issue up with Google directly.

Googleguy NEVER posts in the Adsense forum. Once in a blue moon, Google Adsense Advisor posts here. But once in a bluemoon ... As Jenstar said, you'd have better chances of getting a response by sending an email through the Adsense contact form

It is so unfortunate the Google Guy or Advisors only post once in a blue moon at the forums and G appears like they do not want to help improve the poor communications and avoid common misunderstandings and ongoing issues.

It is so unfotunate the Google Guys do not want to participate more at the forums to help improve communications and avoid common misunderstandings.

He already participates more than I've seen any other search engine representative participate on this board. Complaining about his 'lack' of participation is a bit uncalled for.

Really, I am fairly new here but only recall seeing 1 thread with a G rep post in it. Perhaps I missed many others but I do not think it is unfair at all to say that as though I may not have seen all the G rep posts I am still sure they are few and far between.

I've always found Adsense reps to reply fast on queries -- that is, if you send your question/feedback to them. Of course, they will not respond if you just post in a forum and not send them your questions directly.

Really, I am fairly new here but only recall seeing 1 thread with a G rep post in it.

GoogleGuy posts only in the Google Search Forum and AdsenseAdvisor posts only in this forum.

Search and Adsense are 2 very separate departments in google, so that's why they usually don't cross-post.

Neither of them are required to post in these forums, but they do so in order to help the communication lines. That they don't post as much as you'd like them to is very subjective.

The point being, they aren't here to answer support questions that can be easily answered by a quick email to Adsense Support.

If you have a question or issue about checks in your specific country, you should email Google Adsense directly (the best way is to login to your account first and click the Contact link).

That way they can be sure to have read your message and will be able to respond appropriately.

I already asked this for G support, but they dont say when would be available new methods, while this my money is hold (July).

My bigger fear is accumulate some months and later they kick me off, of course I dont do nothing wrong, but anyone in web can generate invalid clicks (like competitor)...

We have entered into an arrangement to transfer our worldwide billing, collection and credit evaluation functions to a third-party service provider, Bertelsmann AG; however, we cannot be sure that the arrangement will be completed and implemented. The third-party provider will also track, on an automated basis, a majority of our growing number of AdSense revenue share agreements. These functions are critical to our operations and involve sensitive interactions between us and our advertisers and members of our Google Network.

To be sincere, in my situation, more important is to be paid, but unhappyly, through checks we of Brazil cannot receive anymore. I just want my money, like everyone here, seems that process goes to delay much time, one week, one mouth, three mouths, one year? I dont know, Google does not allow me to have an idea :-(

Hi there nsqlg (and anyone else who is in the same situation),

I'd like to reassure you that Google is fully aware of the roadblock in getting payments to Brazilian publishers. We're working hard on a near-term solution to this group of publishers specifically, and we’ll be in touch with those publishers within a matter of weeks.

Re: alternate payment methods in general- unfortunately I can't provide you with a timeline as to when they'll be available to the masses. But we are in the process of investigating alternative ways of distributing payments and you'll see progress in this area down the road!

Lastly, I'd just like to say that I would love to post more actively especially since many of you seem to want this. Unfortunately, due to my "day job" here at Google ;), I may not have the time to respond to everyone's questions. Also, you'll find that I tend to refrain from immediately responding to questions so as to give other forum members a chance to shine and share their AdSense knowledge with all of you.

I do visit WebmasterWorld regularly, regardless of whether I post or not, so your feedback is heard loud and clear over at the Googleplex! :)

Thanks for the feedback and listening AdSenseAdvisor, much appreciated!

In case you are wondering, yes, I love Adsense (also Adwords) and greatly respect Google as most here do. As far as I am concerened G is the greatest.

An occasional somewhat negative sounding post or thread is merely a family squabble among otherwise loving family members and nothing more as Google and its publishers and advertisers are all one big happy family generally speaking.

Many of the subjects discussed seem to be due to communications issues more than anything else.

Many thanks!
I am very happy in hearing that in weeks we will have a solution... maybe now I can dream in having approved my payment in this month or next :-)
