Anyone knows who these third parties are?

[adsense.blogspot.com...]
We could always just scrape the list of third parties from Googles page, but Google is not that great at keeping their own info pages up to date, even though they demand we keep ours up to date.
This whole Privacy page issue is just a play on Googles part to try and push any liability issues off their shoulders and onto ours.
Adsense publishers would just have to copy/paste the code into their privacy page and not worry about updating it as it would be Google who make the changes.
I suspect ASA is either busy with the holiday weekend or they're working behind the scenes to make this a bit easier on us.
Let's face it, Google goes to great lengths to make sure they're optimizing their income stream. That means more money for publishers too. We recognize that fact.
The problematic theme we've been seeing is that Google has been asking us to update our sites too to remain in compliance with new TOS. Well, those of us that want to comply need help:
- Where is the list of advertisers?
- How frequently with that list change?
- Will we be notified when the list changes?
- Do we need to link to specific pages on those advertiser websites (such as their privacy statements).
As mentioned by others, it's easier for Google (one entity) to maintain a list then it is for thousands (millions?) of websites and website owners.
According to the privacy policy requirements, publishers must notify their users of the use of cookies and/or web beacons to collect data in the ad serving process. While I can't further discuss this change, I will pass your comments to our legal team.
farmboy is right; if you display only text ads on your sites, then third-party ads will not appear.
Regarding the Help Center entry ken_b mentions, we're sorry, but this Help Center entry was not complete in its
explanation. You can only set a minimum CPM if you are using our Google Ad Manager ad server to deliver AdSense ads. You can set other remnant ad inventory to a certain CPM and have AdSense try to compete against it to create a virtual minimum CPM. This entry will be updated shortly to make this clear.
Targeted ads have been good to me, but I believe the time has come to completely opt out of placement targeted ads.
I don't mean just setting my prefs to "text only" because that still allows placement targeted text ads to run on a site.
I want to opt out of ALL placement targeted ads.
Do I just email adsense-support@google.com (is that the right adsense support email address?)and request that change, or what/

False hopes.
You cannot set minimum CPM in Ad Manager for AdSense. AdSense can compete for the slot but there isnt any option to set minimum CPM for AdSense.
From my testing over the last few weeks, AdSense will be only served if I dont have any campaigns running. Even my default campaign is always used even if set to 0.01 CPM.
When I turn off my default campaign AdSense will take over. Too bad half of the AdSense banners are spam and not related to the topic. Also earning from these banners are still just pennies per CPM therefore I do not recommend using AdSense image adSense to anyone.
I have used Valueclick, Tribal Fusion, Burst Media, Advertising.com, Adpepper, Gorilla Nation, Glam Media, Casale Media, Eyeconomy, Adsdaq,etc...
None have ever asked me to maintain some list.
Also give us more info on the ad review center. I usually have over 100 ads for review, but no way to sort them or identify what ones migth be worth running. Are they CPM/CPC what is the CPM? At the moment I just keep images disabled yet still get loads of them into ad review center.
