Google has said you will receive your payment by the 5th January. If you expected it by christmas then tbh you was fooling yourself.

The only thing that I am basing it on is the fact that others have rec'd their "payment in progress" line at least by the 19th of this month. So its not foolish of me to think that I would also get a "PIP" line as well.

Assuming it takes 2 business days to have their payments received by the US publishers and up to 2+ weeks to some international publishers

Google is large enough that it would make sense for them to have offices in other countries that could issue payments in local currency.

Has AdsenseAdvisor ever stopped by to explain what the internal Google process is for payment?
It would be nice to have it explained why PIP is such a long process.
I wonder how many adsense publishers there are, that payment is such a long process.
It is a little strange - think about large corporations. They manage to do their payrolls predictably on a certain date each month.

Google should really eliminate the message altogether. People see it and start holding their breath, but it's really of little informational value. The money will get there when it gets there, and not before.
