Anyone else seeing extremely slow or stats not updating at all?
Are they having a sneeky maintenance on a Saturday afternoon and hope no one will notice? :-)
Did they not do this last week and the week before as well?
Yes!
And didn't we have this slow update discussion last week and the week before as well?
Btw, the World Series of Baseball is one of the United States most significant sports events of the year. As I mentioned before, when noting English speaking traffic, US traffic is the most significant from any single country. So it's important to note US cultural events that may affect English speaking traffic.
I'm not being nationalistic, just stating the plain facts, so don't stone me ok? ;)

By the way, it's the World Series of Baseball in four hours, so no doubt there are millions in in the US in preparation for this event.
How perplexing. I will have watched EVERY single baseball playoff game for this year, by the end of the world series, and usually do each year.
Question: All these people "preparing" for the game? How exactly might they be doing that? I'm afraid I've been doing it wrong all these years, since basically, I turn on the TV, lie down, and watch.
I haven't gotten so old it takes me four hours to turn on the TV, and I can actually lie down in about twenty minutes with a good tailwind.
Ya figure they all do stretching before they lie down? What?
I say they should do that (american football thing whatever that is) every weekend...
My page impressions still look low, but the epc and click through are higher than they were for a month. I think the stats are fine, except maybe impressions.

probably why my traffic is down by about 40%. my main traffic comes from the US.... but like everything normally abnormal about Adsense, earnings are above average with higher than normal earnings per click.

Sports is not a solitary event for everyone, where you plop into a couch and turn on the television. It's a community thing, too.
I just got back from the local market. Their beer section was pretty much bare to the wall. Personally, the only time I watch sports is when it's part of a he-man get together with friends. Some of my fondest sports memories are of watching Joe Montana in the Superbowl in the eighties while eating copious amounts of fried chicken and potato chips, lol.
Last time I watched sports was basketball in a corporate box with pmac and caveman...
Not a huge fan of these threads personally. Sometimes something interesting is gained, usually not.
So to vary off topic:-
Weekend weather in UK wet and windy.
Spoony and 4sure were robbed by being booted out of Strictly Come Dancing / x factor last night.
I had the van clamped on callout last night costing me £120 - click my ads to pay for it please :)
So Pengi, Chapman - which is it rounders or netball?
I'm not sure of the original question any longer, but netball is played with two teams and a basketball-like hoop at the end used for goal scoring (played by girls mainly), and rounders is a bit like baseball without all the body armour and uses a round ball.
and uses a round ball
I thought round balls were used in all ball games except for rugby and the US armoured version of it:-)
I know there is ladies rugger however are there any other sports played by men with odd-shaped balls?
In other words, your reports will show PVs, Clicks, but the earnings portion of the equation may be lagging by 4-6 hours (maybe more). At least that's what I'm seeing, so I can't get excited or disappointed about performace until the next morning. Kinda like bar pick ups ;-)
