I've noticed ad targeting on my site getting worse and worse recently. How is it for your site?

Google certainly could add "consumer" and "B2B" options if it wanted to. Of course, that would solve only some mistargeting problems.

Take my Oktoberfest Munich article: Since my audience is interested in travel planning, I'd like to see the Oktoberfest Munich article display Munich tourism ads, not ads for beer or beer-related products (even though beer drinkers obviously attend Oktoberfest).

"Consumer" and "B2B" options wouldn't solve that problem--assuming that is really is a problem. For all I know, Google may have determined statistically, through trial and error, that ads for beer-related products convert better on my Oktoberfest Munich pages than ads for hotels and tours do. (I'm skeptical, but only Google knows for sure.)

No, I know what you mean. My site (and domain name) is the name of my state plus the type of event I cover; I'd rather have ads targeted to the keyword of my state than the type of event, but c'est la vie.

It wouldn't solve ALL the issues, but it still might be an interesting thing to try out (interesting for me on both sides of the coin)
