So, the backlog in airmail that I presume the above is the cause is probably the reason. It annoys me though when:-
The September cheque was delayed for weeks by a mail strike.
The October cheque goes out a week late because of a holiday in America - well that was the reason given anyway... but it delayed it by about a week.. although possibly their recently implemented tax system had something to do with it.
The November cheque is delayed because of the Christmas post.
The December cheque (which I thought would get here without delays) gets mired in an airmail backlog caused (I presume) by the Americans getting twitchy about certain flights. *sigs* Well I suppose this is par de course for international trade.

[edit reason] Check sticky mail. [/edit]
My December check was lost in the mail between Google and my agent in the US. Need to wait until Mid March.
I started making AdWords advertisers happy on my sites as early as end October and haven't seen a single dime yet (and the AdSense income looks pretty impressive at the report page, not in my bank account though (yet).

>there have been posts on this forum from people in Google Adsense whose cheques have been posted but were intercepted on route and cashedBut Google agreed upon reîssueing them, does that mean the banks who gave out the money without proper checking will go empty?
As far as I know - Google reissues cheques to people who have cheques not delivered to them by them being lost in the post. As to whether they reissue them to people whose cheques are intercepted and cashed - I don't know and suggest you ask Google.
Thanks for this hint, I hope nobody cashed my checks though but how can I find out?
Tell Google. If you log in to Adsense, then click on Contact Us (in the top right hand corner) you can send them a message (choose the subject payments). Tell them which cheques you haven't received, ask them if they've been cashed and ask them to reissue them to you. They'll reply by email.
As far as checks that are lost and cashed by someone else, the support team is unfortunately not able to reissue in that situation. To the extent that the information is available, they can let you know whether your check has been cashed or not, and if it has been, they may be able to provide you with a copy of the cancelled check so that you can pursue the appropriate actions to recover your money.
The alternative would be for Google to put a stop on the cheque somehow however:-
a) this would cost them money
b) it would be useless if the cheque had been already cashed
Anyway I'm glad Adsense Advisor cleared it up.
Since they didn't include the November payment (sent late December), you would have had to have earned $600 prior to that, or you aren't getting one.
As far as the mailing goes, companies had until February 2nd this year, as the 31st was a Saturday.
