Any Canadian webmasters receive payment today with a screwed up exchange rate?
Exchange Rate 0.884 : 1
There's no way 1 USD is worth 88 cents Canadian. It's more in the 1.12 neighborhood.
How could they screw that up?

Yesterday the market closed at 89 cents Canadian.

The person who handles Canadian payment has a serious math problem. Exchange Rate of 0.884 : 1 should be 1 CND = 0.884 USD not the other way around.
Guess all Canadian payments had been calculated wrong.

Obviously my source was a poor one.
This is the first time in 10 years I remember ever getting less $ from a US check in Canada.
I guess it's time to go shopping down south.

yep same happened to me. I just wrote them to informed them of the error. I got a exchange rate of 0.884:1 instead of the 1.19:1 it should be.
$1 US is currently worth $1.12 Cdn

Exactly, at this second it is 1.12029
Not 0.88 as calculated and paid by Google. That's a mammoth error.

What's with the Canadian dollar? Is the economy that strong, or is it that the U.S economy is that bad?
What will the trend be? A Canadian dollar that is stronger than the U.S?
Just a few years ago the Canadian dollar was 62 cents.

A "trend" is irrelevent to this matter...
It's an obvious case of an accounting error

I'm sure most of us experiencing this issue have written Google about it. As soon as anyone hears back from Google will you inform us all of their solution.
I hope this can get fixed during this pay period.

Is it an accounting error if when they sent the payment, the current exchange rate was indeed .88?

We have a major problem in Sweden too.
As discussed on a swedish board; instead of exchangerate 7,5 the exchangerate was 0,133. That's 1/57 of what it should be. Seems like it was counted backwards.

The Exchange rate for the Euro of 1USD = 0.807 Euro looks ok.

Seem like that same happened to all the Swedish publishers, a number of people reporting the same on a Swedish forum.
"0,133 : 1" Instead of 7,35 : 1
Quite a difference ... I got money for a burger instead of the few hundred bucks.

can you imagine what a mistake like this will cost them to fix? in case of Canadain cutomers they owe us money but how do you get the extra money already paid to euro publishers? some one is gonna get fired today!

@#$@#. We just paid taxes... I was counting on our full amount this month. It hasn't shown up in our bank yet, but the payment details indicate they reversed the exchange rate.
They better not wait 'til next month to settle up the difference. The exchange rate fluctuates too much.
