I changed the title description of some pages and they just fell off the front page and the first few pages were gone. I resubmitted the index. Is there any way to remedy this?

I changed the titles and descriptions of several pages that were ranked on the homepage, and those pages didn’t rank directly, my God

Put it back the way it was, and never mess with top ranking pages unless prepared to accept the consequences.

There's no guarantee it'll return as was for many reasons.

I feel that I can pack up and leave, it is probably difficult to return to the previous effect

Try it and let us know, but you'll have to wait for it to settle.

OK, I'll let you know the results.

The current situation is that I have changed back to the previous content and submitted the index

Mess with successful titlebars and descriptions at your own peril !

Providing nothing else has been altered on those pages apart from improved images then you ought to re-gain your rankings however keep your fingers crossed, it could take several weeks for this to happwn though.

The main reason is that the original title was written very simply. like i search keyword fruit and my product title is apple。And my revised new title is "Buy Apple | Celebrate Christmas"
So now I don't understand whether the more detailed the better, or the simpler the better

And my revised new title is "Buy Apple | Celebrate Christmas"

In my experience keeping the titlebar simple is best because when you add more words it gives the algo more to chew on and possibly / probably downrank the page. Then use your description to expand upon your apple PLUS, this is important, on the page your visitor sees ensure you include the same / similar text as your description.

Therefore when a visitor is looking through the SERPs they see what they are seeking:
Widget = Apple
Titlebar: Red Widgets from China | China Widget Co
Description: Buy red widgets from China for your Christmas and New Year parties.

I spend a lot of time on my titlebars and descriptions because I have many widgets from many countries and a generalised titlebar and description would have some of them looking the same therefore I have to differentiate the Red Widget from Brazil, from China, from India, from South Africa, from Sweden, from Zimbabwe ! I am not joking, I have one very similar widget product from 30 different countries and my buyers need to know the difference between each of them.

Most search engines are pretty good at sorting out product pages and especially so when given that information in a simple and factual way.

I have absolutely no doubt that others may say it is not neccessary to do as I do and some may say that titlebars and descriptions are almost pointless, that's ok, each to their own :-)

Maybe I missed the simplest thing.

Because in general, title and description to reach a certain number of words range is the best, so I will try to describe a little more

There is no certain number of words formula, there is a limit to the size of a description they will show and a limit to the number of characters for a title that will fit mobile serps that might matter.

As not2easy says there is a limit to the description size. Ostensibly the ideal length is 180-220 characters with Google having a limit of 300, for the titlebar it is supposedly 60-80 characters. Google does change this occasionally longer or shorter therefore I would suggest the lower numbers.

At one time the importance of keywords in the titlebar was ranked by importance from left to right and especially so the first 3 or 4 words, in my experience I still use this format since it looks better in the SERPs and still works for me however the last few years has seen Google especially seemingly place less importance on this and, in general, try to evaluate the entire page which is why we often see posts querying why some pages rank well and others do not.

Hastily created tltlebars and descriptions can make or break a page if they do not relate to the on-page text and images and yes, I know there are many spammy pages ranking well for all sorts of unknown reasons, it's usually a poorly implemented algo update, but creating a well thought-out page will in the long-term not require perpetual maintenance / tweaking.

I changed the title and description to the previous one, indexed but ranked low.

And the strange thing is that most of my new product pages (90%) are not indexed by Google in the past month.

The problem could also now be a ranking shift, and you'll probably never know.
