Hello All,

Recently I have seen a sudden massive spike in organic traffic on the 3rd and 8th of February. It was a massive increase 127 to 3800.

See screenshot here

We did not do anything unusual, Any idea why this happened?

Thanks,
Farhan

Hello farhanseo and welcome to WebmasterWorld [webmasterworld.com]

The spike is likely due to bots. Most site visitor software, including GA, does a very poor job distinguishing bots from humans.

Do you have any stats/ analytics about what this traffic did on your site?

Thank you Keyplyr & Robert, Apparently 99.2% of the traffic dropped off after landing on the homepage.
