Does Flash clipboard functionality affects page rankings

Please find the rephrased question as below :

I have a product discovery + coupon site .
We were getting very good traffic on our site via page rankings or seo.

We did made some changes to our site in last few weeks and our traffic dropped from 28th Feb. One such change was using zeroClipboard functionality to automatically copy coupon code to clipboard on mouse click.

There mught be 10 to 20 coupon codes on which the zero clipboad is applied.
All the 'copy coupon' buttons are loaded with flash .

Does flash in anyway affects page rankings significantly.

Thought so, I would try switching to span/ins etc.

is it a bad structure to have in anchore tag or does google penalise for doing that
