How I knew ?
Before two hours I was checking a site who had PR 5 but now when I visited it it was 0... So, I just figured it our by checking whole my site and found all pages are improved. So there is a PR update..

I agree with this statement. Look at Amazon. Their homepage is PR N/A.
Not really. PR is more about free marketing for Google. When toolbar PR is exported, all webmaster forums and blogs start talking about Google.

I agree with editorialguy. I get spam emails day in day out promising links to PR7+ sites like it's all that matters. Matt Cutts hasn't even posted on his own blog about this update (or at least hadn't when I checked). Not to mention how long it has taken for them to fix the datapipe issue, PR is not a priority in their own words. Maybe that green bar is yet another example of webmasters wasting their time.
Allegedly, "the reason they still have it is not because SEOs use it but rather because searchers and users still use it to determine how “reputable” a web site is." I don't find that too hard to believe.
