Wrong page ranks for keyword with modifiers. How to fix?

So, here is the deal.

I have a page on my website that has information about discounts on widgets (blue, green, red ones, so on).

Now I have created separate pages that have information about discounts on widget of a certain color.

Blue widget discounts
Red widget discounts
Green widget discounts

The pages have been indexed, but when I try to search for "blue widget discounts", the old page that contains info on all widgets (and not only blue ones) is shown for the query. What can I do to make the newly created pages be displayed for the respective queries? They are more relevant because they contain exactly the information that is searched for.

How different are the new pages from each other, and from the old page?

The old page contains limited info on each of the product. The new pages dedicated to separate products and contain detailed info on them. So if you search for "blue widget discounts" a dedicated page is much better then the one which has only a section about blue widget discounts.
