Hey Guys,

I am new to this community, having a query related to multiple language website.

We have a example.com in English with 1,00,000+ pages and we have booked a example.cn (for Chinese users).

I have read some articles from Google support and some other sites and got some awareness about rel="alternate" hreflang="x".

*Automated translations is against Google guidelines - so not doing this.
* Also not adding any option to choose language on site.

Keeping in mind that hiring a Chinese writer will be costly for us.
Need suggestions here : Translating my English website content to Chinese using any translator or api will be good or not.

or if you guys have any other suggestion, please put here.
.

Hi and welcome to WebmasterWorld!

Also not adding any option to choose language on site.

Not sure why you're doing this. You should certainly have a link to the .cn site. Otherwise, a Chinese speaker may come to your site, see no Chinese version, and leave forever.

Forget about machine language translation- the quality s not good and can ruin your credibility.

Keeping in mind that hiring a Chinese writer will be costly for us.

If it was cheap and easy, then everyone would be doing it. If you want it done right, you need to pay for it. Sorry, but that's reality.
