Anyone else seeing this? If you go to your WMT account where there is a small thumbnail of your site, hit F5 a few times and every now and again I get a thumbnail for a completely different site related to a sunset/sundown times across the world.

.com site, UK.

@Shai,

Are you still seeing this or has the problem gone?

Seems to have been fixed. The funny thing was that every WMT account, when it displayed the wrong image, it was always the same image. I had the url of the site (right clicked on the image and it was in properties) but lost it now. Wonder what that was all about...

<moved from another location>

Hello all,

today I logged into my Google Webmaster Tools and to my surprise instead of my thumbnails all thumbnails belonged to a different domain. Is it a bug or maybe there is a reason for concern?

I didn't notice any drop in traffic. All my sites are on Hostgator's resellers account, however I have a test blog on Blogger which also shows up in my GWT and it also had the same thumbnail. The data itself seems fine too.

Would you be concerned in my place?

Thanks!

Oh I can see my post was moved here, so I am not alone! Just checked again and thumbnails are fixed.

No concern. Just a small bug. <snip> If you hit F5 a few times, does it go back to the wrong thumb?

Are you both on shared hosting? Is it possible that the wrong site whose thumbnail this was, is also hosted on the same IP as your sites?

No. I tested 6 different wmt client accounts. All on different hosting and all showed the same site. The only common denominator is the office ip.
