Is anyone else noticing a proliferation of YouTube in image search?

Although I've gotten to the point of not worrying about traffic from images, I still check from time to time. I'm not certain if it's the type of searches I'm doing or if it's quite common now.

Essentially the hover over image shows "youtube.com" as the source of the image. I have no idea if youtube.com shows up when there aren't suitable or enough regular images for a given search.

I don't really say this as a positive or negative just yet. Looking for findings from other people. Certainly a few months ago a "youtube.com" in image search simply never happened.

Anyone else noticing a trend?

A lot of people blocked Google from displaying their images offsite when Google took it upon themselves to show the full size image. I'd imagine this may be part of the reason for a reduction in the available images Google has to display. On the other hand, it is possible that Google is tired of sending any image traffic to sites that Google does not itself own. I have not personally seen much of a difference, but there are youtube images in the few queries I just checked before posting.
