for a couple of days now i have noticed a horizontally scrolling category bar atop google images search for most or all search terms.
for example if you search for "widgets" you will see options to refine your search for "manufacturing widgets", "widgets android", "widgets logo", "steel widgets", etc.
perhaps this is similar to "Related Searches"?
i can't find any official mention of this by Google and surprisingly haven't seen it described here on WebmasterWorld.
i don't think it's the same feature being described in this thread -
