I have a network of 100+ actor blogs (Wordpress), and each of them has a biography page with 4 - 5 paragraphs of text (unique, professionally written biographies). I am using <snip> SEO plugin, which has an option of assigning a SEO title to a page. Blog titles look something like this: John Smith Actor Blog, categories looks something like this John Smith movies | Actor Blog. I am wondering what would be the best seo title that I could use for the biography pages, as of 2013. Would you go with John Smith biography | Actor Blog, or maybe John Smith biography | John Smith bio, or something like John Smith biography | John Smith bio | Actor biographies etc. I don't want to make it looks spammy, do keyword stuffing etc, but maybe it would work. What is the best way to create this SEO title as of 2013?

Thank you.

This is somewhat of a personal preference, however, Google does offer some recommendations via their blog - [support.google.com ]

I think its safe to say John Smith would be your main keyword in this example. If it were me I would do something like this :

John Smith Blog - for index title/site name
Bio | John Smith Blog
Bio : Early Life | John Smith Blog

The :, -, and | are all delimiters which are fine to use and recommended. It should also be okay to use your site name at the end of each title.
