Disavow blogpost URLs - unlikely?

6:16 pm on Jun 24, 2013 (gmt 0)

We're cleaning up any backlinks that Google might not like, and when working on the disavow list, I found that many bloggers that have blogspot have their domains copied across various TLDs, such as:

*.blogspot.com
*.blogspot.co.uk
*.blogspot.de

etc... for all the different TLDs. I can't find all of these, is there an easy way to disavow all copies?

*.blogspot.* ?

Thanks

*.blogspot.*

LOL. It would be funny if there were a way of disavowing all blogspot links.

It might be an efficient way of getting rid of a lot of spammy backlinks (not to say that there isn't some good stuff on blogspot too... but for many webmasters, they're an unlikely source of links).

Maybe you can build a script that would generate the subdomain/TLD combinations for specific subdomains, though. Might save you some time.

I agree - 99 times out of 100, if someone on blogspot links to you, it's a bad thing. Is the 1 out of 100 worth it? No.

I hadn't thought of doing a blogspot wide on the disavow... sounds like a good idea... I can't remember the last time I saw something "real" on blogspot.

Not sure if a blogspot wide disavow is smart.
