Is it ok with Google to exchange Twitter Followers?

I've seen sites to exchange twitter followers, is that ok to Google?
(not sure but I think there's some ways to explosive followers increase, and others pretty much like "you follow me and I'll do the same")

Probably there's something similar on Facebook, but the question is how does Google feel about it, is that ok?
(since the social factor seems to be relevant to Google)

Twitter shut Google out of their ecosystem quite a while back, so I can't see how that could have an effect with your Google ranking. Facebook never whitelisted or partnered with Google and on the contrary, have been rather hostile towards Google at least in public.

With that said, I highly doubt your particular efforts on those two platforms has any positive effect whatsoever. If you're "trading" likes or followers, good luck on capitalizing on that.

I'd be more worried about what Twitter thinks of you trading follows than Google if I were you.

They just culled a bunch of fake followers.

I believe somewhere down the time Google would start to devalue Twitter exchange and would also take into consideration the ratio between the followers and following before passing any value of Twitter followers to your SEO efforts.
