Middle of may our server had some kind of error not sure what happened. All the links leading from the main page were broken. We Fix this about a week ago. I have noticed now we are not being shown on Google. Pages indexed 0 by Google are page ranking from 2 went down to 1. I am not sure what is going on and would like some help. I have looked at Google Webmaster tools and found 10 errors. I'm trying to figure out where they got these links from. They are listing errors with links that go nowhere. Where would they have gotten these links? How can I find out if Google has penalized this website? Or is it going to take time to reindex because the server was down? I am totally baffled.

It is my friends website and helping to find out what the problem is. Any help would be appreciated.

Generally when a site goes down for any period of time, you lose "trust" with Google.

I'm not sure I understand the rest of your message with regards to links. Are you referring to their finding 404 pages on your site (broken links)... if so, this could have occurred when the server went down.

If the server went down, and you saw a drop, I would focus on making sure everything is fixed with my site and server, and give it a little time to see if things bounce back.
