New website deindexed?

I used to dominated a microniche which i had discovered and pioneered, until a scrapper set up many scrapper sites scrapped from my content... and on March 6th I lost all the rankings and now the website of that scrapper dominate this niche

I had set up a new website with (some what related content) few days ago and around 1800 pages had got indexed... but I accidently deleted the database... I had not taken any back up,... So I started populating the database one by one again...

But few hours ago I realized that site:example.com operator is showing zero results.....also the live traffic had become zero!

Could google have deindexed my new website because of too many redirections? as when I put new articles the old articles on old IDs were being redirected to new articles... could this have triggered a penalty and deindexed my website?

Its a shame that a scrapper is dominating my niche

It could be they deindexed if they noticed a technical problem, it could also be if they noticed your new site followed the same type of profiles as some of your other sites as decribed here from last summer:

I think it was technical issue, as I had lost the database and I had no back up... so when I manually re-entered articles, their series might have gotten changed and so old indexed articles were getting redirected to new.... could it have triggered a review?
