I've numerous sites and one of them took a major hit late last year, presumably with the latest update so many have been up in arms about.
Admittedly I'd long ignored that one site although I had intended to revisit it this year with major updates of my own. It's not a scraper site, everything within is original with thousands of original photos.
But what with the major drop in visits and ranking(s) I felt like simply putting it to the side. I've no qualms about doing that. This way I can attend to my other sites.
Here's the twist though. Googlebots are constantly there. I'd say once almost every hour and sometimes twice an hour.
Should I read into that? Or should I merrily go on my way?
